Run Away. Find Another Company…

We have had nothing but problems with Tower Moving Systems. We contracted with them for a semi truck for a move from Ca to ID. We paid premium rates for such a large truck but we knew it was a lot of stuff to move and we knew that would be more than enough room. We also did not want some of our stuff in one truck, the rest in another truck, and/or our belongings mixed up with those of another client.

So here comes 830 am moving day and a small truck shows up. We called Tower about this then got into a 45 minute discussion with the owner Alex who argued that he was in charge and he was making the decision about the truck, that it was all going to fit, that he "could pull those guys off the job at any minute." After lots of back and forth he conceded and arranged for another truck to supplement the first one. So the first group started moving our items out into the driveway and piled them there. At some point everything stopped. Half our house was piled in the driveway with some things packed on the truck (note: every single thing was packed into moving boxes to ensure maximum efficiency of the space). Then I saw the movers laying cardboard on the sidewalk, receiving Door Dash meals, and eating and taking naps on the sidewalk and lawn in front of our house. At about 4 pm another small truck shows up- more calls to Alex who raged at us and threatened to just leave everything there (again) and it was finally negotiated that the movers would be able to get everything on the two trucks. We did not know at the time that we were piggybacking in the truck with another customer's belongings. So at around 8 pm they start moving things again (nice long break from 10 am to 830 pm). They finished at 11pm and the movers demanded we pay them directly (our contract said we should pay Tower Moving) and they all threatened to unload everything al leave. With extra assurances from the movers (all pretty nice guys) we paid up and they signed off. Brilliant. It's now midnight. As they're leaving they say ok see you up in Idaho at the house on Sunday morning. We said no, we contracted for a three day window and we'd see them Monday morning. They said nope. We're going to deliver Sunday morning. So we say whatever let's just do this and get it over with.

So we sleep for four hours, get up at 430 am, pack up dog, two cats, a trailer with a boat, two vehicles, and at 830 am hit the road. Somewhere in Oregon we passed the movers and kept driving. 430 am we arrived at the new house- 630 they arrive and start unloading. No complaints there- everyone was very helpful and hard working.

Ok so truck leaves and we begin the unpacking process. A few things broken but we anticipated that- not a big deal.

So now it's July and everything is unpacked and inventoried. Lots of items missing including a bin of power tools, an expensive drone with extra controllers, HD cameras, various accessories etc, some furniture, a box of books. Not sure if these items got mixed up with the belongings of the other customer but someone scored. And that's why we contracted for ONE SEMI TRUCK ALEX!! So now we need to make a claim and no one answers at any of the Tower numbers or email addresses including customer service and their manager, who I will refrain from naming at this point. No one. I have left over twenty VM messages and there has been zero contact on their part. Now we are going to have to hire an attorney to forward our claim because according to our contract we have 9 months from move in date to file a claim. This company is terrible. If you want to risk your belongings, get cheated, and get treated like S++t go ahead and hire them. If I had known (yes, we did our research and read hundreds of reviews from a dozen or so companies) I would have never contracted with them. Totally corrupt as evidenced by their lack of professionalism and customer service.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

They did a great job moving my mats and some gym equipment to my new Jiu Jitsu academy I just opened up in Aventura. They did two pick ups for me. The first pick up we’re the mats in Doral. They were there at 845am to get the mats. The second stop was in North Miami we’re I had them pick up the treadmill, wall mount rack which they assembled for me and some dumbbells. So these two pick ups and a couple of guys to do all the heavy lifting and driving at a really great affordable price. I will definitely be using them again. Fast, efficient and affordable. Thank you Tower Moving Systems!

Move size: Commercial Move Service cost: $1200

I cannot believe all the fake reviews on this site. This company is easily the worst collection of dishonest people I have ever dealt with. Well at least 1 person but he lied enough for an entire company. They do not have trucks. They are a broker who lowballs the price putting the responsibility of increasing the cost to the guys who come pick up. George Michaels is the worst example of salespeople. I asked are you a broker or carrier. We are both. Lie. Will the price change at pickup or drop off. Not unless you add something. Lie. He did not calculate anything for the packaging materials that were needed and his estimate on cubic feet was grossly inaccurate. I was told we have a truck going from San Francisco to Chicago, Iowa being on the way, and your load will fit on the back of our almost full truck. Lie, either no truck existed (since they have no trucks) or I simply wasn’t put on it. My items were picked up on July 11th. Pro Smart Movers handled it and their crew was great. They had the enjoyable task of letting me know it was going to be $1600 more than I was quoted. My belongings then sat in a warehouse until I finally got delivery on August 31st. So long in fact they had to give me $300 credit for being late. Long story short never do business with George Michaels or Tower Moving Systems. I implore you.

After picking up my furniture for my out of state move, over 3 weeks went by and I NEVER heard anything else from them. I literally had to track them down and call everyday to find out what happened to my furniture and when it was going to be delivered. Finally after over a month, my furniture was brought to me but on top of the miscommunication and chaos of getting an ETA, the driver tried to charge me and extra $250! Lastly, since I refused to pay any extra, they left only moved my furniture a short distance and I was left to move it by myself to my actual destination. This company is disgusting, unprofessional, chaotic, careless, and should be out of business.

Tower Moving Systems crew moved me from my house last Saturday to a new house up town. I was so thankful for their help! Not only were they a nice and fun crew to work with, but they packed everything really quickly, including a couch that was particularly difficult to move from the basement, without a single complaint. They also had numerous blankets ready to wrap all of my furniture to ensure that it got to my new location without any scratches. I cannot recommend this moving company enough!

I had been hiring a different moving company in the past. This time they were not available and I opted for Tower Moving Systems LLC instead. These men made me realize what I was missing out on! It took them a very short time to finish packing and loading everything from my 3-bedroom apartment. They weren’t just fast but also very thorough. Every item was packed with great care. They delivered everything on time in great condition. I don’t think I would be hiring the other company as long as these guys are available!

I was so happy that Tower Moving Systems LLC didn't charge me too highly. Otherwise, moving is just so expensive these days. This company really wants to provide quality services at a lower price. They have good trucks and they employ men who are experienced enough. They charge you pretty low but really give you a great service. They took such good care of me and all my stuffs when I hired them. I think the price itself is good enough. Anything on top of that is bonus!

Somebody recommended this company for my move and I shared this with a friend of mine and he confirmed these are reputable guys. I called one of their sales representatives. This guy was polite and willing to answer all of my questions and I like to ask so many questions. On the move day the guys showed up 30 min later but the supervisor personally apologized for the inconvenience and compromised to move quickly. From that point on they were so quick and careful. Also the delivery was just as promised. For they are trustworthy I recommend them.

My furniture is very close to the expiry dates. I wondered if I should buy all new pieces once I moved. But I decided against it given the state of my bank account. So the movers from Tower Moving Systems had to take great care of them during my last move. The movers really paid attention to the old pieces and packed them so delicately. They made sure they stacked everything properly inside the van so nothing damages during the journey. They made the delivery right on time. The movers unpacked everything and put them where they belonged. I didn’t see the men complaining even for once. I’m so thankful to these guys.

I think every moving company should pay equal attention to both their moving services and their customer care. Many companies train their movers really well these days but the customer care service is a whole different story. However, with Tower Moving Systems, I was quite impressed in both departments. They called me back in just ten minutes with an amazingly low quote. The movers arrived on time and packed up my 3-bed apartment super-fast. The movers were just so professional and efficient. The delivery was made the next day. I checked the inventory and nothing was missing. The movers did an excellent job and I commend them for it. Their customer service was also just awesome.

The sales rep from Tower Moving Systems called me and was trying to provide me with a quote. I proceeded to tell him that I already had quotes and I made my decision and truly I was going to just hang up. But he said to me that they were a highly recommended company and that I should at least compare. Well having the call with him we together unfolded that most of the companies that I was considering didn't look too good now neither did they but they looked a heck of a lot better with the price a little bit higher. Well I prefer to feel secure than save a dollar so I reserved it with him. Everything went perfect from start to finish. There was not a time I felt uncomfortable. Good job guys!

We recently moved our four bedroom household to a brand new four bedroom house. I hired Tower Moving Systems after speaking to their manager. He was very professional and told me everything I needed to know up front. All the guys who came out were friendly and very careful with our stuff. They were right on schedule on both days, which was very important to me. Also, the manager quoted a price that was above what the actual price was. This was a nice surprise afterwards.
